In this workshop, participants will receive a foundational understanding of neurobiology. We will explore the role that a child’s brain and nervous system play in their behavior as well as how the brain and nervous system are affected while early patterns of attachment are being established.
Participants will also learn about the potential “attachment outcomes” of a child’s relationship with their caregiver and best practices for repairing attachment ruptures and strained child-caregiver relationships through play therapy.

2. Learn the various attachments styles within a child-caregiver relationship.
3. Learn play therapy techniques and other interventions used to repair ruptures in attachment within the child/caregiver relationship.
